The 2022 SABRE Awards Africa ceremony set to hold on May 25, 2022, will witness 23 African public relations companies emerge as winners. The ceremony will take place as part of the 2022 Africa Public Relations Conference at Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The annual award celebrates the best PR work from across the world, with a focus on engagement, credibility and relationship building.
The campaigns were evaluated by a jury of industry leaders that recognizes superior achievement in branding, reputation and engagement.
A total of 42 awards and 85 certificates will be presented to 47 African public relations firms. 23 of these organizations will get awards, and 38 will receive certificates of excellence. The Africa Public Relations and Communications Report (APCR), presented by BHM Research and Intelligence, applauds all 47 agencies on their achievements.
The report, which was formerly known as the Nigerian PR Report, has recently been expanded to include all of Africa in order to provide useful statistics and insights on the African business and communications sector.
Ayeni Adekunle Samuel, the Cahir, APCR Committee and founder/CEO of BlackHouse Media, one of the agencies slated to receive awards, congratulates every agency recognised for their excellent work among hundreds of entries submitted to the SABRE Awards.
Speaking on the awards, he said: ‘We are proud of the growth of the African communications industry, and this SABRE outing, along with all the results we have seen from the past year demonstrate that all the hard work is paying off, that the world is taking notice and paying attention, and that we are up to something great. We will continue doing all we can to make sure Africa is better understood; and that our firms are well-positioned to help clients and partners no matter where they are from.’’
The SABRE Awards recognize campaigns that demonstrate the highest level of strategic planning, creativity and business results.
